Almost all of my logo work has been done for local businesses or non profits in the town of Corydon, Indiana where I live. I also worked for the county tourism bureau as a graphic designer for 9 years. I love doing work for these businesses and love helping to promote what our beautiful historic town has to offer.
God’s Earthly Creations is a locally owned Christian book store and gift shop in downtown Corydon, Indiana. They requested a vintage art nouveau style logo which was an absolute ball to design. It looks great on the sign in front of the building.
ReinDrops was a fun creative exercise. This logo was designed for use in a game of Christmas themed “Sharktank” like ideas for my work Christmas party in 2023. My partner and I settled on a magical device for Santa that turned reindeer poop into candy. I really like how the logo I made for our presentation came out.
Old Capitol Home Furnishings requested a simple sophisticated black and white design to grace their storefront.
A few years ago Main Street Corydon needed to update their logo. Every summer a man named Darrell carefully tends at least 20 hanging petunia baskets that grace the light posts in downtown Corydon. I wanted to incorporate those flowers into the new logo,
The Bowed Board wanted to incorporate an old school strong man into a fun design they could use on t-shirts and other items.
Art Party Unlimited was a local shop that sold the owner’s original paintings, hosted various art classes and also offered drop-in art opportunities for kids and adults. They have since moved to the East Coast.
In 2016 the state of Indiana celebrated its bicentennial. Corydon was the first state capital of Indiana before it was moved to the more central location of Indianapolis so a variety of special events occurred there to celebrate the event.
The owner of Owen Trucking came to me after consulting multiple designers who completely ignored his wishes of not including a truck or truck parts in the logo. I was glad to oblige him and create this simple classic design that looks great on the doors of his trucks.
